The MP1 provides dedicated control of all generator functions through a rugged front panel designed to withstand the harshest of operating environments. Large, bright LEDs provide clear indication of kV, mA, time and system status in both light and dark ambient environments. An RS232 interface provides constant system monitoring and remote PC control.
The MP1 constantly monitors generator status and system interlocks to provide the highest degree of system safety and reliability. Program data of all available tubes from major tube manufacturers is stored within the MP1, ensuring quick and straightforward integration of new and modified x-ray tubes when required. Tube warm-up routines and power limits are precisely stored to ensure tube safety and maximum filament lifetime. Further x-ray tube data can be programmed when required to ensure full compatibility with all available x-ray tubes on the market.
