Resonant Filament Drive architecture with patented* filament current monitoring and closed-loop current control offers improved filament current behaviour, with excellent linearity across the entire filament operating range. Tests have shown extended filament lifetime of up to 70% compared with UC series generators.
Accurate, closed-loop grid voltage monitoring offers system developers the potential for developing predictive maintenance algorithms.
All UD series generators are available in AC or DC filament voltage configurations to meet the demands of conventional tungsten filament tubes and new crystal emitter technology.
UD series generators are UL, cUL and NFC-74/100 certified.
